I love to write, play, and listen to music. Especially metal. My favorite band is Rush for their amazing lyrics and musicianship, but I like a pretty wide variety. I play euphonium, guitar and piano. I also enjoy reading and writing stories. My favorite authors/influences are Kurt Vonnegut, Neal Gaiman, Harlan Ellison, Ray Bradbury, Nick Sagan, Terry Pratchett, George R.R. Martin, Piers Anthony, Stefan Gagne (internet writer, look him up) Franz Kafka, and H.P Lovecraft. I mostly write science fiction, satire, and black comedy; these tend to cross over. In addition to music and books, I like just about everything stereotypically geeky: PC/console gaming, Magic: The Gathering, pen and paper RPGs, anime/manga, good movies/TV serials, programming, history, statistics, game theory, psychology and science.
