My name is Jai Marie I'm a single mother of three (two girls 24,19 & 16 son), born and raised in Detroit, Michigan until I relocated to Arizona in 2006. Motown was a era in history unlike anything this world ever witness. To go outside and see the Temptation, or Smokey Robinson, or The Supreme. The music industry has change so much since then and not for the good if you ask me. Back then everyone can really sing unlike these studio stars. Words had meaning, men knew how to talk to a woman and a woman knew how to communicate to her man. If a person was shy or didn't know how to express oneself...you could find a song to play for that special person. Music during that beautiful time in our black community was magical! I will be old school all the days of my life and want to share this journey with my new found family. Enjoy, sit back and lets go down memory lane together:)
