I'm probably one of the older ,regular listeners on PANDORA on a daily basis as my job allows me 8 hours a day of listening bliss and the option of programming my "stations " on Pandora !I grew up in the 1960's and was at the original Woodstock in 1969, and 9 months later was almost killed by the National Guard at Kent State where I was majoring in broadcasting. The older I get (now 60 ) the more I am opening to other genre's of music - in the past year have been listening to Om, Earth,Sunn O))),Kinski,Dead Meadow, Earthless, and many,many other post-rock/ sludge/drone bands. About a month ago I fell into Americana and Folk at the same time, so a lot of Bob Dylan, Sleepercar,Whiskeytown,,Jim White,Leo Kottke,Gene Clark,Jack Rose,Levon Helm and the Band both with and without B. Dylan. Then when I get in a mood for something different it's The Walker Brothers, Wishbone Ash, Kinks,The Who,The Clash , Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young,Poco, CSN&Y, and the Bob Welch line up of Fleetwood Mac ( before Buckingham/Nicks ) and my two favorite lady vocalists ,Judy Collins and Melody Gardot! Next concert I will attend is JEFF BECK, June 23,2010 at Riverbank in Cincinnati . Play on !
