Christ is the solid ROCK ON which I stand. - Matthew 7:24-25 Briefly, I'm a proud, hardcore Jesus Freak. Been saved since 7, hence the name. Since that time (18 years and counting) I've been a vocalist in an unnamed local rock band, school choir, church choir and praise band, and my taste in music is just as all over. From The Showdown and Demon Hunter to good old hymns (no rap or country though!), I've probably listened to at least 3 hours of it in a given week. I'm a vocalist, so, for me one of the most important parts of a song is the lyrics. They give the song meaning and direction. I don't tolerate profanity out of my own mouth or that of the bands I listen to, not because it offends me personally, but because it offends the One I serve. I also realize that they are just words, but they are words humans have labeled "bad", so, I choose not to use them. I prefer charging head long into the battle against oblivion (no, not the game...), so: "Wake the lifeless, die to fight this, stand beside me. Storm the Gates of Hell!" -Demon Hunter Have a wonderful day >:P PS - Thanks to Max S, I've engaged the explicit material filter (in account settings) which has greatly improved my Pandora expereince. If you're following one of my Explicit Lyrics warnings, it's because it slipped through anyways. I'm going to continue doing it, so, your choices are now, leave a message attempting to demean me for something you see as weak, leave a message applauding my mettle, or just leave ;) PPS - I listen to Pandora at work mostly, so I don't often check my profile page.
