Hi, 13 years old and my name is Emily. I live in Rapid City, SD and its a nice place. It is absolutely beautiful.... With the hills, the wildlife, the snow that shimmers like diamonds on the trees. I have the sweetest, most normal family you would ever see.You would think I was happy to live in such a beautiful place, with a loving family. But just because everything is perfect for me on the outside... The inside is a completely different story. Im depressed, And I have the worst way of dealing with it. I cut myself, I know its bad, and i want to stop. But it's addicting. And I want to tell anyone reading this that no matter what your going through, no matter how much pain you feel on the inside, NEVER EVER start cutting. You will regret it. I know I do. It's hard to stop once you start. Please never ever cut, just don't. Do you want to have to wear long sleeves or sweatshirts for the rest of your life? Have people stare at your wrist in PE because your t-shirt cant cover up the scars for you? Be called freak or emo? No? Well please don't start cutting yourself. I know for a fact that some people just want to get their hands on a blade and start slicing away at their wrists. Maybe for attention, for the relief. But don't. If your going through a hard time try talking to someone, maybe they've been through the same thing as you. I know you feel alone, but there are plenty of people having a rough time. If you have nobody to talk to, maybe leave a comment for me and if Im not on I'll get back to you the very next time i get on. I know things will someday get better for you, just don't give up or do anything stupid, or you'll end up like me. Writing mile long bios for other people :) Thanks for reading this, it means a lot if you took my message to heart, if you already cut I hope this made you feel less alone.
