Hi! I'm Catholic Christian, 34, and married. I have a Master's Degree in Zooarchaeology, which means I specialize in animal bone in prehistoric and historic archaeological sites: what did they hunt? What parts did they eat? What time of year, was there a drought, was the population under dietary stress? What environment did they live in or travel to and how far did they range? Those are among my favorite research questions.
After two years of attempting to break the 30-minute barrier for running a 5k race, I'm pleased to share that I ran a 29:38 over the weekend! I bought a Groupon in March for a run clinic in which my form and stride were critiqued, and I received some run workouts to do on my own. Three months later I paid for another run clinic in June as a status check and had my training adjusted. I then got injured, received Active Release Technique treatments and physical therapy for a few weeks, and then got back to my running. And now I reached goal!
