I love music; it is the essence of my being. Sometimes music can speak for you and comfort you in a way nothing else can. It always understands whatever mood you are in, and gives you what you need. I would be lost without music and sound. I love anything that can speak to me. I love large orchestrations. I do not like when music is manufactored in a machine. I do not like or appreciate artists who do not write their own music. Why bother getting into music if you are going to be generated out of the music machine. By this I do not mean those who are playing others' compositions and admitting it. I am talking about the Katie Perrys, Brittany Spears, etc. That isn't music; the music they sing was made on a computer and placed before a focus group to determine whether the mass liked it.
Give me a heartwrenching song-give me Mary Jane Blige, Radiohead, Tori Amos, Bjork, PJ Harvey, U2, Chopin, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Underworld, Duran Duran, Eminem, etc. ALl different types, just give me yourself, and I will give you me.
