My tastes are somewhat eclectic, and like most everyone, dependent upon my mood. I like melody, harmony and lyrics. Consequently rap and hip hop are not high on my list. If I had to listen to only one genre, it would be the so-called great American songbook. But like most baby-boomers, I love the Beatles, Eagles; most any late 60's early 70's pop.
I'm a big fan of movie soundtracks; especially Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry and John Williams. But I also like Vaughn Williams, so there you go.
I produced country records for a while and appreciate good country. And I've played (some would say played at) piano long enough to appreciate every kind of pianist from Brian Culbertson to Floyd Cramer and Beegie Adair to Rachmaninoff.
Share anything you like. We can never have too much good music in our lives.
