Rodger, you are not missing anything. Its a great Police song off the Zenyatta album. If you know anything even remotely about horseracing you will see Zenyatta was name after this album and Zenyatta may very very well be the best Mare race horse that ever lived going 19-1-0 in 20 starts. Police ahead of their times a tad but great song indeed ! You got it right!
@lombard: Because Greatest Hits often fall short. I try to get whole albums, especially bands that only have a handful of albums. I once tried to buy some Kinks albums at FYE and all they had was like, 5 different greatest hits albums! The point I'm trying to make is don't let the masses tell you what is great and what isn't. Certain artists have albums where non-hits are on par with their hits.
Partisan, it's the T.A.M.I. Show, which stood for Teenage Awards Music International. In 1964, James Brown was one of a dozen headliners at the concert including The Beach Boys, The Supremes, The Rolling Stones and Marvin Gaye. It's considered one of the greatest concert films of all time.
One of the really cool early ones. Still grabs my attention. Social comment with electric guitar. Very sparse instumental here. "James Brown, the Tammi Show".
