Probably the song Gilmour envisioned Run Like Hell should have been. definitely a more unselfish and important message than Water's self -pity party aka The Wall. Though regardless of the travails of rock stardom The Wall is and will always be a masterpiece.
I love the bridge in this song. It's so musical, it gives me chills. Incredible.

Amazing tune. Division Bell is one of pink floyd's most coherent records. I really like most of the comments although I dont understand why only U2 is being compared. My favourite song from the album would be "Coming back to life" - A lot of major key tonality there definitely :)
Great song with a good message. The Earth is gettig tired of us ,with many a good reason.Soone r or later ,she will shake us off ,like a dog trying to get rid of the annoying aggrivating fleas.

Saw 2 shows from this tour in Mass. In 94 ,i think. The light show during this song was the most amazing light show I have ever seen.(And I've seen many) If you get the DVD "PULSE " you can see it too.On a much smaller scale,though !
