Didnt know the connection with Alan Parsons, thanks. Awesome instrumental !
Probably the very best studio engineering ever put on tape! Parsons was like the fifth member of the band.
Love this with ear phones, just so rich, unique, and just plain awesome in its presentation .
The band always gets a ton of praise and, rightfully so, but the engineer/pro d u c e r Alan Parsons is/was a HUGE part of this sound machine. For the Newbs, check out The Alan Parsons Project, starting with I Robot or Turn of a Friendly Card. You'll hear the connection.

Great song, just sayin
Head phones and flow with the whole album from beginning to end trip out
Track playing mind games with me...so trippy
Yes, Yes, such a nice soundscape. Amazing this was so long ago.
How could one not listen to this, brain damage and eclips back to back?
fparry
Sounds just as good underneath the stars as it did 40 years ago.

Floyd is good for the tierd mind
Any Colour You Like? Pandora, you nailed it! What a track.
This whole album is great
Best album by far...gonna get it tatted on my back next weekend :) My ode
Still not sure, this song or Us and Them.... ohh which is better
the lunatic is on the grass. ;)
@ j fast. That's right.
Best album ever made
My favorite song on this phenomenal album. The keyboards sound like your in space, the guitar solo in the middle of the song is one of Dave's best, the bass like always is groovy and has an amazing riff, and the drums give the song its power.
Don't forget the Colour and the shape of things. Wonder if there are eight primary colours?
Dark side needs to be listened to from start to finish. Otherwise, it makes no sense. Very good album.
Love this piece. When I hear an individual piece off DSOtM I realize how I have often thought of the album as one long piece. Great stuff. Guess I will call it Red since it is Any Color You Like. Peace.
Rick Wright on keyboards makes this song. He was nearly as important to the Pink Floyd sound as Gilmour, but usually overlooked.
Best Album ever made, and Im a for hard Beatles fan. Enginered by Alan Parsons
Great stuff
Cool song, great album!
Classic example of the Nick Mason Shuffle

hehe I have a station named after this song, yet I've NEVER heard it played. Thanks Pandora!
Comparing this to Zeppelin is like comparing Van Gogh to Picasso. What's the friggin point? Everybody likes one or the other, and some people like a little of both, and still more people hate it all. Who cares? It's all good to somebody, and that's all that matters.

I have to concurr with Paranoid Android on his/her frustration. The way these great album tracks get all chopped up (this one was followed by an ad -ouch!) really fouls the listening experience. It doesn't do these tracks justice when the album isn't played in its entirety and I hope Pandora will take notice.
Why do you have to compare? just enjoy both in there own right its called art.I LOVE BOTH

Hey Pandora...yo u can't just go playing songs willy nilly from DS. Your genome project needs tweeking.
I used to hate this Floyd song. But I like it now. Very ambient.

Floyd is better then Zeppelin. But Zeppelin is still cool in my book

So many memories tacked to this song. I'll always associate it with hearing my brother playing it on his guitar from the basement on so many evenings. Definately one of my favorite instrumental s .
I love his singing along with the solo
