What a wonderful touching song that reaches the soul. So well written and so powerful.
This is my favorite song of his. His music uplifts me and makes me want to learn and worship God more. The first time I heard this song on the radio I was blown away by how beautiful it was. Right away I went home and looked his name up on line so I coud hear more of his musiuc. From that moment he has been one of my favorite male singers.
This song is such a wonderful picture of real worship, the true worship the Father seeks! So many of us are afraid of embracing the fact God is calling us into an intimate, romantic relationship . Yes, He's almighty, soveriegn, holding all eternity with His hands, yet He has chosen us as His prized creation! Ok, not the proper place to start preaching, just overall a great song!
I really like the banjo in this song. It doesn't make it feel country...bu t it brings it closer to your soul. It is a passionate love song to God. It makes you feel like he is standing outside of God's window...and confessing his love like Romeo to Juliet.
The Banjo is a great instrument to the song.
