It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

Ever since I watched the play at a college, I fell in love with the Phantom of the Opera. I have been practicing singing the songs from Phantom. My dad practices with me. You might be surprised, but I'm only ten. Almost eleven.
I really dont like her voice the movie is the best. I don't even like thinking about the musical version i broke my leg there... lol funniest story ever a lady was walking through and i put my legs up for her to go and she slipped on something and landed on my ankle then she ran away without saying sorry. She was pretty fat so yeah thats how i broke my leg i stayed through half way through the musical then my dad came and got me and took me to the hospital. I was in 2nd grade now im 14.

Should note that I DID end up seeing it in Minneapolis MN with a decent cast, but definitely not up to par with the London West End cast.

Was in London for 3 weeks in 1990 and got rush seats to Phantom within 3 hours of checking into the hotel, but they were restricted view, so we passed on them. Tried to get tickets again every day for the next 3 weeks; even spent an afternoon standing in line to get rush seats again to no avail. I could KICK myself. WHAT was I thinking?
I love michael crawford and sarah brightman is the only one i've heard who can hit those high notes that well. emily rasmussen tried....and didn't really succeed, unfortunately.
I started to watch the movie and shut it off, there is no other Phantom besides Michael Crawford. When I got the sound track I heard him sing and fell in love with the his Phantom. I never saw him in the stage play, but I saw him in concert in Dallas Fantastic!!!!
haha, me and my friends were recently talking about this. they went to see the performance in Austin recently, and we were discussing that professional singers are way better than Gerard Butler, which I agree with, because that is their area of specialty. i'm saying that Gerard did well for an actor who doesnt specialize in music. plus, i saw the movie before i heard these recordings. Mr. Crawford is way better than Mr. Butler, but I still prefer the latter. ^_^
I completely agree, littlered. Saw the play, bought the soundtrack--and couldn't watch the movie b/c of Mr. Butler's voice.

No offense to anyone, but, um, Gerard Butler (while being ridiculously attractive) doesn't really have the proper, classically trained voice for this role. Michael Crawford all the way, baby.
sorry all ya'll original cast fans out there, but i perfer gerard butler's singing voice... also, the best part of this song is the very end, when he is singing by himself. just my opinion.
Absolutely amazing song when done right, or like they perform it, and kills My Chemical Romance in any competition. This has withstood time, that is the greatest critic.

I had the great good fortune to see Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the original production of "Phantom" in London and then again in New York. I never tire of listening to this song.
It's not bad, but I MUCH prefer Oblige or My Chemical Romance to it. But it's sung with some passion, even though I do not particularly care for this certain genre of music, so 3 and a half stars.
My grandmother introduced this music to me when I was a young child and I am not almost 25 and still love this music. I think Sara's voice is beautiful and is way better then the girl in the movie.
