Pfr

Originally called Inside Out, PFR was formed in Minnesota by Mark Nash, Joel Hanson, and Patrick Andrew. For their 1992 album debut on Sparrow, the trio changed their name to Pray for Rain but changed it again to PFR for sophomore work Goldie's Last Days. 1994 brought the release of Great Lengths; Them followed in 1996. ~ John Bush, Rovi

This was my favorite group back in college days. Still rock out to them while driving. Catchy lyrics.

Got to see them on their farewell tour. I met them and got their autographs. Great Band. Was so sad that they are not still together. Never get tired of their songs!!
They have a beatles-type harmony. Thats how my parents got me to start listening to them back in the mid 90s lol

THE band that introduced me to Christian rock!
I always thought they were one of the blandest, most boring, most faceless bands in Christian pop-rock, but this song that's playing now (Trials Turned to Gold) is alright.
Unique sound that made them stand out in the 90s. A transition band for me! Love these guys

Yeah, the bio needs some serious updating. A truly original and great sounding group. One of my favorites.
One of my favorite groups. Amazing songwriting, vocals, musicianship and they are incredible live. Just saw them for the 4th time in January. The bio on here could use some help / updating.
Amazing how 3 guys can fill an auditorium with sound -- in their live concert, I'd look at a guitar, a bass and drums and think "where is all this music coming from?"! Short life for such a good band: they definitely quit while they were on top.
one thing about them is a Upbeat happy Love comes through their songs!!

After many years, never get tired of listening to PFR. One of the all-time greats. You call that a bio?!

I wish Patrick Andrew would release more work. He released an absolutely fantastic CD a few years ago and it seems he is no longer recording. I was lucky enough to be at the CD release party and heard him live in a small bookstore accompanied by a band including Joel Hanson.
my best band of the 90s

Love the song "Name" awsome band.

One of the best Christian bands of all time. Great songwriting, great production and very good live show + ministry. The best bands have a combo of sweet and salty. Joel and Andrew. Please reform again :)

One other commentators left a mention about the 2001 release “Disappear” which showed the band at the height of their songwriting ability. Best group effort and a fitting swan song. Also worth checking out is their 1998 recording “Them”. Please post these fine CDs.
i typed DC TALK in and get this crap what the heck

I wish I knew where they were now too. I got to spend time talking to Patrick Andrew when he came to Minnesota to play his solo album which is fantastic. BTW, Joel Hanson was being the big brother and helping Joel be a solo artist (REALLY COOL). I have bought lots of copies to give to friends because of how much I loved the album. It has been a few years since then and I wish Patrick Andrew would release more music.
one of my favorites! where are they now?
wonderfully joyful and meditative artistically woven godliness. But where are their final releases!?!? ! "Disappear" 2001 and the rest? checkout Wikipedia for more.
