I like to ponder about how a song 'feels'. What makes two songs 'feel' totally different although they are, technically, very similar ? Why can technically different songs breathe the same feeling ?
I enjoy to create special-character stations, as focused as possible, but not reflecting any existing genre. Like inventing genres. Sometimes the challenge is impossible.
When a station appears to mature, I remove the 'x'.
The stations are roughly aligned in a kind of evolutionary storyboard. That's the numbers. This can't be done in two dimensions tho - but it's good for orientation. Lookup station comments. Another goal is to be able quick-mix stations on-the-fly for a special mood. I guess that's what all DJs want :)
I'm doing some acoustic instruments, and a little digital mixing, but just as a hobby (if i have time).
I'm out of the Pandora zone most of the time, so I'm less active on this site nowadays. But I will keep adding artists and stations, and reading your comments.
Enjoy, _____
