I'm sure no one wants to read the novel that this could become, so some highlights of my musical life:

While I've had a long-standing appreciation for music, I became enamored upon my introduction to Josh Ritter. His passionate and engaging stage presence testifies to a life intricately invested in authentic living while his lyrics breath-takingly convey human existence.

Thus I have concluded that music is the language of angels, expressing far more than mere words. I need music(ians) with great lyrics, a good beat, and expression of the absolute essentialism of music in life. I tend to gravitate to those with folk, Americana, or country roots, clean and crisp instrumentation, and personality heard in the songs and seen on stage. But if other genres can speak to me, I’m certainly willing to give ‘em a try.
