Just a music fanatic who also does a little music making. I love the intersection of African rhythms and European music that came together in the Americas, North and South; everything from jazz and blues to candombe and afro-cuban to zydeco, bluegrasss and rock. I do a little West-African style drumming mysalf, because, to me, that's where it all stems from, but I love just about everything with a beat that grooves.
