So you wake up and its a new year
a million thoughts might run through your mind but most are going to be something like this
*holds head* dammit...
what was in that punch?....?
did she say she was married?
did he propose?
*look at the person beside you* who the f**k is this?
holy s**t did the rubber break last night?
this is going to be a great year
this is going to be a s**tty year
its new year?
is it new year...?
*look around*why am i naked in a forest(or)why am i naked on a couch in the middle of downtown!?!
where are my pants?
*look in the mirror* aaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!! why am i shaved bald!!????!!

Maybe you think something a little more rational
whats so different about this year? my job still sucks, my wife(significant other, bf, gf, husband, partner, etc.) still nags, the kids still whine, im still broke, and im a year older!
or maybe you see things in a more positive light

Hey its another year i still have my job, my wonderful(significant other), my beautiful kids(if you have kids), and we are not living on the street.

Then theres you guys that are like me
you wake up and think "f**k" what a s**tty a** year already. but then you think about her smile and your heart beats a little faster. your pulse skips a beat. wow your mouth is curling up in a smile already. you hear her laugh and your smile becomes a grin. the scales are set and weighted. she balances out everything else. what the hell did you ever do to deserve her? you didn't know then and you still don't know now. all you do know is that she makes you happier than you have ever been. and you will do anything for her. you mood has already started to brighten but you are a realist. you cant get to happy because s**t happens. so with you grin and accelerated heart you begin your day. hoping that she will still be in your arms that night.....
