I'm a full-time freelance artist/writer, originally from California, but currently living in Montana. I love gardening and nature. I love to cook. I love to read. I play piano and violin, as well as sing. I'd love to try writing my own music someday.

Musically, I like a lot of different things, but my tastes probably center around female singers that tend to be considered part of the "alternative" genre. Tori Amos and Bjork are good examples. That's really only the tip of the iceberg as far as what I like musically though. I also love classical, blues, jazz, swing, opera, classical, show tunes, punk, hard rock, gothic, and the "oldies but goodies" from the 40's and 50's among many other types of music.

As far as what I'm not usually so hot on? Rap, hip-hop, really "hardcore" country, or bubble gum pop leave me really cold most of the time, but even when it comes to those genres, there are occasional exceptions that I'm crazy about. I consider myself a true music lover, meaning I will give anything a chance.
