I grew up in a very musical household, the daughter of an opera singer and stepdaughter of a Wagner heldentenor. After living in the deep south in the U.S. for 20 years, I also have a deep love of cajun, blues, R&B and a capella music. As I am a singer myself, I also love a wide variety of singers and songwriters, including Peter Gabriel, Ani DiFranco, the Indigo Girls, Etta James, Tori Amos, Aimee Mann. Ray Charles, however, is my all-time favorite.
