My music = wildly eclectic. Cut my musical teeth on progressive rock and jazz fusion in the late 70's in New Orleans. Caught Weather Report, Gil Scott-Heron, Shadowfax, McCoy Tyner in intimate club dates. Explored early "world" and "new age" music on my own progressive radio shows in Colorado. The common denominator: The heartbeat--deep compositions that reverberate with the polyrhythms of life. Current favorites include David Sylvian, Six Organs of Admittance, Steve Tibbetts, Fever Ray, Tegan Northwood, Ali Farka Toure, and the ECM "Rarum" retrospective series.
