I cannot express to you people how much I love this man. He's literally perfect. Everything about him is just, unf. I can't explain. I'm sorry, but really. Paulie, we love you :3
Paul is by far one of the most talented people to ever make music. I have grown up listening to his music. My mother saw the Beatles before they came to America not far from where I was born when she was only 16 years old. Sir Paul's music has been present at every important event of my life, from weddings to births and yes even a few deaths. A true testament to his greatness, all of my children and grandchildren love his music. The Beatles are dead, long live Sir Paul!
wow!! What can be said about Pual that hasn't already been said, I know its cliché but he is truly the best Beatle. I wish I was a kid when the Beatles and Wings were around, to bad I wasn't:( When I listen to Pual he takes to a place I rarely get to feel and that is a place I know we have a been to. Thank you Paul for giving us the best music ever.
A fantastic musician, lyricist, and composer - Paul has created special memories for millions of fans around the world. While not attaining the sainthood status that his former writing partner John Lennon did, true fans know what he brought to that collaboration. A hard working middle-calss work ethic with perfectionists tendencies, Paul wrote the songs that defined 2 generations. I only wish that he and John had worked together longer. They brought out the best in each other.
For the first 12 years of my life, I grew up with an abusive father. One of my escapes was to lock myself in my room and listen to, Beatles albums. When I was 12 I'd saved enough money to buy paul's first album. Since then Maybe I'm amazed continues to be my favorite song. I'm now 54 years old and living with the first stage of Lou Gehrig's disease. I still listen to all kinds of music for joy and comfort, but when I need to escape, I listen to Paul.
McCartney may be the classiest and most talented of the pop musicians out there! Nobody else can swing a melody like Sir Paul. He also knows how to arrange, lead, songwrite and perform with the very best of them. An overall talent like the world may never know again!

Sir Paul - July 4, 1991 - Washington DC - RFK Stadium. Highlights for that show (beyond the thrill of the any McCartney concert) included a rendition of Fool on the Hill dedicated to 535 people working under the Capitol Dome which was visible behind the stadium, extended fireworks during Live and Let Die to mark the Nation's birthday, and an entire Metro train full of concert goers spontaneously singing Hey Jude as we left the show. Clearly a memorable night 21 years ago.
Sir Pauls show in Cincinnati was by far the BEST concert I've ever seen and I'm a vet of over 200 shows ranging from smithereens to Elton John etc.... Oh yeah !!!!
Great composers only come along once and while--Mozart, Beethoven, Bacharach, Brian Wilson, Lennon & McCartney--so glad I was around to hear the superb tunes of MAC and his various bands!!!
Jet was the name of Paul's horse at the time - according to an interveiw he did in 2010. I had heard it was the name of his dog prior to reading this.
