@ judy_guz: this is a film score, which is sort of in the same genre as classical, depending on the composer. for example, hans zimmer uses electronic synthesizers along with orchestras when he creates his scores. its amazing music, if you enjoy listening to it, join the club :)
It is a good film, based on a popular novel, but I've read it's not at all historically accurate (although I'm certainly no expert). Of course that's not really surprising, many historical films take liberties for the sake of entertainment.

@happymamadeb: it is the story of the two Boleyn sisters (Anne & Mary) and how King Henry VIII had desired them both, etc., etc. Very good film.
Thet say music sooths the savage beast... well this is soothing and I love the gentle sound and sensual feeling that has been put into it.. Give me more of this kind of music...
Very Moving intro in the opening of this soundtrack. Then it leads into this exquisite and dramatic lovely melody which forms the composition as a whole. Truly a masterpiece. Then it falls ever so gently into the flute solo to close with charm and grace. Very memorable very moving, very new modern classical at it's ultimate.
I LOVE movie soundtracks, and Paul Cantelon promises to be one of my favorite composers. Fans of his should also check out Hans Zimmer's many movie scorings. I much prefer this eerie sort of instrumental sound to a lot of the very grating movie soundtracks coming out these days...

whenever this track comes up I just have to stop whatever I'm doing on the web and just listen...it trully represents the genre of classical soundtracks...would love to hear more of Paul Cantelon's works....
