Exactly. Everyone has a right to there own opinion. She's saying to respect each others opinions and beliefs basically. And to not judge or force someone to believe in something they don't see. You can't be respected if you don't respect others opinions. It's hypocritical.
This song is about over-righteous people who try to "play god". Ex: Telling someone they're going to hell, you're not God. Trying to shove your religion down everybody's throats and Hayley is a Christian I should say. Love the song I can relate
She's not "hating on religion " she's saying that the person she knows thinks they r in charge and in control of her life, she said nothing about hating God. So every1 shut the fudge up!

If this song makes you hate her because shes "hating on your religion" then you need to seriously get over yourself. Firstly, you're the only one hating. This song does not once mention hate. Secondly, if you're so f**king religious then why would you hate anyone? Lastly, telling someone that they're going to hell is just plain ignorant. Have fun in your magic fairy mind that can make up magical dieties.
