Los Angeles punk trio Osker was led by singer/guitarist Devon Williams, still a high school sophomore at the time of the band's 1998 formation; with bassist Dave Benitez, Williams soon recorded a four-track demo which made its way to the offices of indie label Epitaph, which funded a second demo session before extending a record deal. Yes one of the most underrated bands, with only two albums it sucks they didn't last, but atleast they're two f-n great records. Devon Is truly a talented musician and song writer. The first LP treatment 5 is alot faster and more up beat compared to idle will kill the second album. If you still wanna check out more of Devon's work find the artist fingercutmeg a m a c h i n e , this is more folk than punk but still extremely well done.
