Harpist/vocalist Órla Fallon (aka Órla) was born in the village of Knockananna, in County Wicklow, Ireland on August 24, 1974. Fallon released her debut album, The Water Is Wide, in 2000, followed by multiple projects with various members of Clannad, including the Duggans and Moya Brennan. In 2005, she joined the Celtic-new age-adult contemporary pop outfit Celtic Woman, with whom she would go on to record five internationally best-selling albums before leaving in 2009 to spend time with her family and resume her solo career. Her second album, Distant Shore, arrived later that year, followed by Órla Fallon's Celtic Christmas in 2010 and My Land in 2011. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
Ola should come back to Celtic Woman and rejoin Lisa Kelly and Hayley Westenra then the group would be complete again not only beautiful voices around but their beauty doesn't hurt them either
Her voice is enchanting and breathtaking. I praise God for her talent on this evening where I find myself stressed and overwhelmed with emotions. The music relaxes my inner being. Be blessed!
I love this song and didn't recognize that she was one of the members of Celtic Woman until I read her bio and saw the cover for the album My Land. I love this song and the sound of Gaelic. I assume that is what she is singing in. It sounds so fairytaleish and the lyrics are so Irish in nature. :) Thanks Pandora!
