OPM, an alternative pop/rock trio from California, blends Latin hip-hop beats and conventional rock & roll riffs for an enjoyable pop sound on their debut Menace to Society, released in September 2000 on Atlantic. OPM came together in 1999, comprised of Matthew (aka Shakey Lo the Kreation Kid), John E. Necro, and Casper (Geoff Turney). Their music capturing personal teenage strifes, adult frustrations, and internal anguish is most evident on Menace to Society. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
Edit: They are not going to win any awards or anything, but definitely a blast for those of us who remember these guys from back in middle/high school! I also remember loving Brighter Side back in high school when a good buddy died.

Menace to sobriety is their only album I ever heard...no idea they had others till now. It was a random present from a friend years ago, and while I was def an emo teen at the time, I am pretty sure that album was great. The other stuff has a totally different sound though...
Protip: at least track down 'El Capitan, hilarious song (the unedited version at least).
Oh yeah! first time I heard them was a cd from a friend in Germany, liked them very much! they're humble group, very similar to Sublime, hopefully they dont end up like them....they've struggle for while, some people dont understand their music....Keep up good work OPM! :0)
