Toto Miranda, Josh Lambert, and Yvonne Lambert came together as a junky, dirty, hook-heavy electronic trio called the Octopus Project in the late '90s. Their music caught the ears of the folks at Peek-a-boo Records in 2001, and the band released their first album on that label, Identification Parade, one year later. Their second album, One Ten Hundred Thousand Million, followed in 2004, and the Octopus Project went on to tour heavily over the course of the next year, appearing at festivals like Noise Pop, Wall of Sound, and SXSW, where the trio snagged the title of Best Experimental Band. The Octopus Project managed to make their way back into the studio amid all this touring, teaming up with Black Moth Super Rainbow for their third release, 2007's The House of Apples and Eyeballs. ~ Margaret Reges, Rovi

I saw this band open for Devo a while back, in a semi-small venue in San Diego. They've been one of my favorite bands every since. Amazing live band.
Saw them live at Daniel St, Milford, CT in October 2010. They blew the headlining band, We Are Scientists, away. Clearly thoughtful, creative, unique, energetic. Much recommended.
Like, I already have a station by this name Pandora... what's up? if I create another on Firefox in FB, what happens to the one that exits on MSN? Bet all my custom likes and dislikes are gone?
wow. my new favorite thing. Pandora gave me the hint, and I went ahead and bought three of their albums. Just ordered the 2009 enhanced CD, Golden Beds. Can't wait to get it... I wish Pandora listed the OP's collaboration CD with Black Moth Super Rainbow. I want to download it from iTunes, but I always launch my purchases from Pandora, so they can get a kickback...
when i saw them open for aesop rock, they played with as much passion and joy and gusto as any band i've ever seen, and after the show they were beautiful, very humble. yvonne will tell you how to make a theremin!
one of my favorite bands of all time! their shows have amazing energy and they always have taken the time to talk and take pictures with fans after the show. yvonne also makes some of the merch (cute little stuffed felt animals).
