I like her.....she sounds natural, fresh and uncomplicated yet her version of this old song can't be ignored... . I was working and this song jumped out of nowhere in my head and I thought, hey!....what an impressive rendition.... Who is the singer/band anyway? Pandora, you are great!
Do you notice how fresh this music sounds - even after 45 yrs? A new recording, but the feel is the same. Amazing. Just flow with it. The first real jazz-rock fusion - long before that term had even been coined. The mark of a standard tune - and a standard genre of music. Paul W. Sammarco, Pres., P&J Records

Reminds me of a quiet little club in Rio on a saturday nite....late.
Have to disagree. The vocalist is a little shrill and edgy. The backing is indeed mellow but the vocal has to be understated and languid for my money. Astrud still sets the standard in my book.
love this rendition. Better than anyone else who did it in the past. The guitar solo was simple and mellow, not too far and wild from the melody. Could be better than Astrud's version.
