Personally, I like this version better. More overdriven guitar, more powerful vocals, and I love the "awkward" dissonant sounding part in the second chorus.

Look! people make excuses because of legacies... Kurt obviously did not care how it sounded until he got feedback from Albini due to his insistence on perfecting songs in studio rather than before studio like other bands.
