@ austin knight I don't think so, the goth label gets bandies about quite a bit. I had a band where we took on a female singer and all of a sudden we were a goth band. It was news to me, and i don't particularly consider Lacuna coil to be goth, though they kind of embrace that moniker.
I must say I have heard great ones, but this group is good enough to make it to the top. I hope to hear more music and better albums come from them.

I have no idea why this band is virtually unheard of. Amazing symphonic metal, the perfect fit to that station.

I love the sound the incorporated electric violin brings to it. Definitely a unique blend of vocals and violin. New favorite!

These guys are definitely talented :) They definitely contribute alot to my symphonic goth station.
i've only heard two of their songs so far... i really should just buy this album... and then get their other albums too. :)

Another example of good old string instrument usage is Cruxshadows.
Love naio ssaion they stand out among other gothic sounding bands due to the violin. Another great band with the violin use is The Sins Of Thy Beloved
The applied use of the violin is what really makes them stand out. Great band. Along with Lacuna Coil, they literally make my goth-metal station what it is.

Not bad but not anything new that blows you away. The most interesting thing about them is their name.
I'm so tired right now I can't really tell whether her music is good or not, but I think it is.
Finding artists this good; that I had never heard before, just suddenly playing, is the reason pandora trumps all the radio stations where I am.

With unique and quality music like this, I can't help but imagine doing terrible things to every member of this band. In a good, but mentally shattering sense.

The Sic use of the violin gives Naio Saaion just the right twist of sound 2 make ya look up from what your doing 2 see who the artists is. I've only heard 1 cut from Naio Ssaion as I write this but as soon as I hit that little blue submit button I'm gonna go see what else I can feast my ears on by these 2. I would say if your a fan of After Forever, Within Temptation, Nightwish {with either Tarja or Anette), Leaves' Eyes, Plumb & Flyleaf (just to name a few) you should give Naio Ssaion a listen.
