Dallas-based choir director, vocal arranger, producer, and backup singer Myron Butler worked for Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, and Ted & Sheri before organizing his own vocal group, Levi, signing to the EMI Gospel label, and making his debut with their first album, Set Me Free (2005), which peaked in the Top 20 of the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart and won four Stellar Awards. Stronger (2007), the group's second album, reached number two. Next came Revealed Live in Dallas (2010) which proved another Top Ten hit and featured guest stars Franklin and Smokie Norful. Worship (2012) was his first solo album away from Levi. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
