Myracle Brah is the solo power pop project of singer, guitarist, and songwriter Andy Bopp, who also fronts Interscope recording artists Love Nut. Often compared to such past power pop masters as Badfinger, the Raspberries, and the Beatles (Bopp's singing voice is eerily similar to John Lennon's at times), Myracle Brah originally began as a mere side project, before eventually becoming Bopp's main focus. In addition to Bopp, Myracle Brah consists of Paul Krysiak (bass, piano, vocals), Marty Canelli (organ), and a pair of drummers, Joe Parsons and Greg Schroeder. Signed to the Not Lame label, the group issued three albums in as many years: 1998's Life on Planet Earthshop, 1999's Plate Spinner, and 2000's self-titled release. 2002 saw the release of a 14-song compilation, Super Automatic, which collected the best tracks from Myracle Brah's previous releases. Myracle Brah continued to record, releasing Treblemaker in 2003 and Can You Hear the Myracle Brah? in 2007. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi
