god i can talk about this for days. Front 242, front line assembly and skinny puppy+ industrial.Problem is there is EBM which is totally different...I like every band listed below..cant we just hear it all?
Everyday Is Halloween, NWO, Stigmata, Over the Shoulder, Same Old Madness, I'm Falling, Work For Love, Effigy, Revenge, All Day, Just One Fix, Bloodlines, So What, Burning Inside, Thieves, Breathe, Jesus Built My Hotrod, Stainless Steel Providers, Beers Steers & Queers, Cannibal Song, Psalm 69, Lava, Game Show, Brick Windows, Crumbs, The Angel, Nature Of Love, Wanted To Tell Her, Filth Pig, Reload, What About Us?, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, Something Wonderful, Attack Ships (On Fire), No Devotion.
Al Jourgensen, his side projects & by association projects define Industrial: Ministry, PTP, Acid Horse, Pailhead, Lard, 1000 Homo DJs, Pigface, Skinny Puppy, Welt, Special Affect, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Ministry & Co-Conspirators, Revolting C**ks, Screw and Buck Satan & the 666 Shooters.
There is more to industrial music than just Front 242 or Skinny Puppy. I say bring Kevorkian Death Cycle, Fektion Fekler, Abscess, Covenant, Gridlock, Mesh, Acumen Nation, Pulse Legion, Implant, and so much others. Get my drift! And for those of you who like more mainstream industrial: Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westward, Sister Machine Gun, Gravity Kills, God Lives Underwater, Ministry.
Why the hell does industrial have to be so obscure, All the greats are missing on Pandora, wheres all the awesome Canadian Pioneers of the 90's. It's so sad that great music is so under-appreciated, a bit off topic, but I can't even find the best albums on here from bands that I love, no matter how big they got in their later years, I can't find the early albums, which seem to always be the best, and most defining of an artist.
