Davy Jones has a very powerful singing voice and he really shows that in this song. There are two versions of this song, an early version that was featured on the show, and the 1968 version that was on "The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees". I really love that album! Would have been better if Peter Tork got to do more. Extremely underated.
