This Oldfield version of an ancient irish ballad is good (very Jungle Gardenia style) and I like it... Even if the old Van Morrison version (recorded with the Chieftains) is the most remarkable one!
This song is another one of those overplayed "Irish" songs (like "Down by the Sally Gardens", "Danny Boy"- which isn't even Irish! etc.) but I like this rendition.

Ooooh! Another haunting melody. The acoustic guitar is just mesmerizing. The flute is so lovely!
