Michael Card began writing songs at a Kentucky college, where he would write praise choruses for a local church service. Although pushed to earn his Ph.D. by a professor, he was lured into the recording industry by friends Randy Scruggs and John Thompson, who needed a musician to record for their production company's demos. The record label insisted they produce Card's music as their first project, and his acoustic folk sound appeared from the very start; among his records was 1981's Present Reality, 1987's Life, 1993's Come to the Cradle and 1996's Brother to Brother. In 1998, he returned with Starkindler: A Celtic Conversation Across Time. ~ John Bush, Rovi
I started listening to Michael Card in second grade, many years ago now. This was my first cassette tape, though it was my mother's, not mine. I just recently started listening again, and am buying all the CDs that I can. God, through Mr. Card, speaks so very clearly.

I'm often dumbfounded when I think of the gifts GOD imparts to people! These guys really glorify HIM with every note and lyric. Music like this keeps me in the mood of the Sabbath! Curiosity fills me on this Sabbath as I enjoy this music and wonder what GOD, JESUS, THE HOLY SPIRIT, all of Heaven, and Adam & Eve thought as they rested on that first Sabbath. That's an uncountable number of thoughts, I know. Nevertheless, I plan to ask them and eternity will certainly afford me the time needed
I don't know why or when I stopped listening to this station but I do know God knew today I needed moments of peace & tranquility. He directed me to the Pandora icon on my desktop that's always been there. I just wasn't use it. I love these guys. JMT has been my favorite for very long time. I so needed the peace & restfull feeling I feel at this moment. God is good!! :-)
It is wonderful worship music and I use it in my prayer, praise and communion time. The music leads me right into the Throne Room!

Love these guys together...someday I'd like to make it to JMT's hermitage...and take one of MC's seminars. I wore this CD out.

Both Michael Card and John Talbot have been a blessing to me through the years. I love this station. What a Blessing!!!! I can listen and explore new and old artists, while not being blasted by music I dont like.

Michael Card is going to give a seminar next weekend in Eureka Springs AR, little portion retreat center, went to one similar a few summers back. It will be a real memory maker to have several days of teaching and Oh the music... Hesed, a Portrait of God
Far more than any other word, the Old Testament uses Hesed to define the character of God. Card will examine these key instances and move toward an understanding of how the word 'hesed' was incarnate in Jesus. http://bsc.weship4you.com/scri
This is all new to me. I did not hear these guys before. I am thrilled to find spirit filled musicians and song singers. Just awesome and filled with the glory and love of God.
