It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

We met Magic Slim at Soaring Wings Wine & Blues Festival Nebraska playing intro for Tommy Castro, since then we moved to Arizona and we would LOVE to see him here at the Bisbee Blues Festival. Tommy was here last year and we would love to see Magic Slim here this year or next!!!

Have pics of him with my baby girl when she was about 3 months old backstage at a Blues Festival...priceless! Always enjoy seeing Mr. Magic Slim tear it up! Get the man some Wild Turkey and watch him go!

Still my favorite Chicago Blues artist. It's been over 15 years since I've seen him live. Would go to Legends, buy him a shot at the bar and watch him and John Primer tear it up !
I saw Magic Slim in a long gone Denver club a few years ago. He was great! One of the best shows I've seen in the last ten years. Blue Magic is a GREAT blues album.

whats to get baentwistle? the stones were heavily influinced by the blues. Heck, in the very early career of the stones, they covered blues tracks. so to wonder this amazes me. as I have stated many times...
The blues had a baby, and they named it rock and roll.
If it were not for the blues, their would be no rock and roll.....period
magic slim is happening. live in st louis and wonder if he will make it this way.

When the Stones toured the USA in the early 80s (1981?), they planned an off day in their schedule in Chicago and announced they were playing at a local blues club. Of course everyone could guess which one. But virtually no one got in! In any case, at Buddy Guy's Checkerboard Lounge that night, the house band that started things off was Magic Slim and the Teardrops. Slim's career has been all up from there and hopefully the Stones still remember that night. And no, I didn't get in either bu

Oh yes, they are coming to the Waterfront Blues Festival this summer. Portland is happily waiting. Awesome!
