Little Anthony and the Imperials bring so many memories of that girl I married 42 years ago. I can recall every moment we were together when this song played. I hear it now on your station and it brings such a warm and special feeling in my heart.
Wow, lil anthony is a wonderful singer. Yes, they were a little before my time, but growing up this is what was on the radio and my mother told me that when I was a baby she kept the radio on all the time and the music just stuck. When I was a teenager in the 80's, my family called me the "world's oldest teenager", lol. I just finished watching PBS's show of all the old original groups singing all these songs. Again, wow!

I just found out today that "Tear On My Pillow" was my late Grandmother' s favorite song back in her day. My name is Anthony but I have an uncle who nicknamed me "Little Anthony" to make a distinction because I'm named after my Father. When I saw the name of the group, I called my Mother and asked if she'd ever heard of this group--jesting because of the group's name. And that's when I learned the significance of this song. Far out, right?--Cleburne, TX's finest!
