Lime was a Canadian disco/new wave combo that consisted of lead singers Chris Marsh and Joy Dorris, and production/songwriting team Denis and Denyse LePage. A popular act in the '80s, they produced several influential singles in their genre, including the hit "Your Love." Despite their large hit, they eventually started to fade out of the public eye through the '90s, finally retiring the name in the mid-'90s. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi

Joy Dorris and Rob Hubertz (new male vocalist for Lime) still perform concerts. Seen them in Miami about 5 times in the past few years. They totally shake the dance floor with their huge catalog of great hits and their high energy performance. If you've only heard one or two Lime songs, you should really check out their Greatest Hits album. They have so many great hits that were huge in the clubs.
I juuuust waannnaaa stay all night ....hold me babaaay HOOOOOOLLLLLDD MEEEE!
Yeah...Lime was at the front of the post-disco dance sound. They labeled it Hi-Nrgy back then. Can still rock a dance floor better than this stuff the rhythmless posers in DJ booths push out there these days. Good stuff.
Let's find out if the original Group is doing well. Then perhaps they can join the BackToDisco movement dominating in Southern California, USA. Thank you for a lifetime of musical and spiritually uplifting moments Denis & Denyse, and Chris & Joy- Kind regards, Gary Mitchell Rubalcava In The Pattern
I first heard Lime (song: Your Love) in the movie Summer Lovers, which starred Daryl Hannah and Peter Gallagher. I later was able to get my hands on one of their albums (not any of those listed here), but it had only 4-5 songs on it. It was a great dance album, though!
