This has long been among my favorite tunes from Zep. They ALL played their best on this one!Jimmy brought all his studio tricks and they ALL achieved new heights on the performance. Just perfection -- LOVE IT!!!
....absolutely stunning piece of hard rock with a ton of changes that make it a one of a kind masterpiece! Regrettably, nobody touches this kind of rock magic nowadays! I'm so glad I was there when it was brand new music, ...sorry kids,...but you missed the friggin boat!
As someone burned out on this band after 40 years of too much Stairway, et al, I still love this jam. Bonham killed on this one; right! Saw them one time only and this was one of those that just kicks.
The end of this song sounds like a Zeppelin high up in the sky hurdling out of control as it smashes into the ground. Definately one of the best endings of any rock song in any genre in any time!!!! Never get tired of listening to it!!! Ever!!!!! Listen to the end of How Many more Times. You'll see what I mean. Just close your eyes and listen...... . . . . . . . . . . . .
