The Ocean

Lyrics

(We've done four already but now we're steady and then they went: One, two, three, four)

Singing in the sunshine, laughing in the rain
Hitting on the moonshine, rocking in the grain
Ain't no time to pack my bag, my foots outside the door
full lyrics

Wtf filthy, i have that beastie boys album and it way newer than this, and its not stealing, its sampling
Every time I hear this rift, I think of Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Led zepp can't get enough
Then the ocean lost its way!!
The beat part is when he says "oh so good" I love led zeppelin
Member the ditching parties???? Waking in the house to some freakin awsum Zeppelin. Stroll on over 2 the kegger ..... Then throw in some Hendrix & Sabbath...
Pretty sure the _something_ he says is Feels so good now
Love led zep
Led is the best

This is a GREAT song! Oh so good!
Love this song
Don't forget Vanilla Ice also borrowed from Under Pressure, what does this have to do with The Ocean?
richred42
Good song Has anyone seen that confounded bridge

Har dee har har! Led Zep stole from the Beastie Boys. That sh** is funny! And Queen & David Bowie did the song together, although Queen started actually writing it first.
I love the vocal break
"ohh so good....
Odd meter and tempo changes missing from the description. . .
Beastie Boys borrowing other artist's sound? Cant be...
Huge Zep fan and this is one of my absolute favorites. The ending is one of the best in rock history. I was 16 when this came out and it helped shape my permanently rebellious, free spirited personality. "Oh so good!"
If you love rock and roll in any and all off its best parts you need to set your station to Soundgarden
I thought they collaborated on that song. But I could be wrong.
Under Pressure is first by David Bowie and then Queen I believe.
I coulda swore "Under Pressure" was Queen's work, not David Bowie.
No need to get unfriendly - rap artists very commonly sample from classic rock songs. Examples: Tone Loc used Van Halen's riff from "Jamie's Cryin" in "Wild Thing", Eminem's "Sing for the moment" sampled Aerosmith's "Dream On", vocals and all - and of course, Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" uses the guitar and flute notes from David Bowie's "Under Pressure," though VI himself denies it.
Flithy stop listening to music twat Zeppelin was around way before your Beastie Boys

Actually filthyswit, the Beastie Boys stole the guitar riff from Led Zeppelin. They were around before the Beastie Boys even existed.
Amazing riff. Love this song.
Speaking of which, prein004, have a look at the comments of When the Levee Breaks.
Oh, yeah; great song. Both of em.
Ha. No filthy, the Beastie Boys sampled the riff from Led. They have a habit of doing so. In addition to She's Crafty, also see the drum beat from When the Levee Breaks in the BBoys Rhymin' and Stealin. And the Moby Dick beat in What Comes Around. I'm sure there are others too.
They stole the guitar here from the Beasty Boys' song 'She's Crafty'.
Agreed,
great song by a great band
One of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs. Top 5 at least, which is really saying something since I love Zeppelin.
We've done four already and now we're steady and then they went:
1
2
3
4....

When I think of Zepp I always think of this song. It pairs Bonzo and Page exquisitely. As loud as you can get it, that's the way to play The Ocean.
