Har dee har har! Led Zep stole from the Beastie Boys. That sh** is funny! And Queen & David Bowie did the song together, although Queen started actually writing it first.
Huge Zep fan and this is one of my absolute favorites. The ending is one of the best in rock history. I was 16 when this came out and it helped shape my permanently rebellious, free spirited personality. "Oh so good!"
No need to get unfriendly - rap artists very commonly sample from classic rock songs. Examples: Tone Loc used Van Halen's riff from "Jamie's Cryin" in "Wild Thing", Eminem's "Sing for the moment" sampled Aerosmith's "Dream On", vocals and all - and of course, Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" uses the guitar and flute notes from David Bowie's "Under Pressure," though VI himself denies it.
Ha. No filthy, the Beastie Boys sampled the riff from Led. They have a habit of doing so. In addition to She's Crafty, also see the drum beat from When the Levee Breaks in the BBoys Rhymin' and Stealin. And the Moby Dick beat in What Comes Around. I'm sure there are others too.
