I love Kanye's s**t, the original and the remix. But them both having similar content, I'd say Lupe's is better, can't f**k with Lupe, and although he might get the hits Kanye does, Kanye can't come close to Lupe's lyricism, and I'm a HUGE Kanye fan and defender, but Lupe's a whole nother level.
The song was not supposed to be about what Kanye raps about in the remix (blood diamonds). It was originally supposed to refer to the diamond (or "roc") made when throwing up the roc sign. I prefer Kanye's original Lyrics over the remix lyrics, but I like Hov's verse in the remix.
