The Ronnie James Dio tune was actually on Kerry's solo album (not AD) - album was called Seeds of Change
Love it. Loved playing it in Off The Wall back in the early '80s.
I was their photographer
There was a killer tune on the AD album that featured Dio on vocals. Too bad it's out of print.
Kerry Livgren remade the song with his band AD, after he left Kansas - I believe the album was called Prime Mover - he redid the lyrics to center around Jesus Christ, the original was definitely Albert Einstein
stphdriggs
For what it's worth, the Wikipedia article on "Point of Know Return" says this song is about Einstein.
iJUST LOVE THE WAY THEY GIVE YOU A DOSE OF THEOLOGY IN THE MUSIC THE PLAY.CANT GET ENOUGH ITS TO BAD ARTIST HAVE TO GROW OLD AND LEAVE US. BUT I GUESS THERE WILL BE OTHER PROPHET COME ALONG....... .
Can't say so categoricall y , but the consensus seems to be Albert Einstein. Much of the lyrics don't fit the idea of Christ as God, which the composer believes.

im thinkin jesus
I wonder who that could be...
Love Kansas
