I was only a teenage living in the early 2000s when my dad showed me this greatest hits cd. To me, that was a beginning of a beautiful journey. Pun intended.
I love all kinds of music...but Journey is one of my top 3 of all time...if I ever go on a long road trip, pop in Journey's greatest hits cd and everything is good!!!...lol!

Agree...Steve Perry set the bar, but since he retired ...Arnel is just as good and Journey concerts today ......ROCK!!!!!!!
This song is as close to a time machine as any. Straight back to my youth, drving around with the top down and singing along at the top of our lungs... immortal moments.
This Journey classic was originally from the movie "Vision Quest". This movie starred a young Matthew Modine as a high school wrestler setting out on a quest to beat the States Wrestling Champ. The song was a great intro to the workouts Modine did before his meets, and the song again erupted after he finally won the Championship. Great memories of my high school days, thanks guys. You still rock, Arnel was an excellent choice to continue what Steve Perry brought to the band. Good Luck.
Remember on the vh1 behind the music. That little boy was sick and he did the make a wish program and he wanted to meet Journey. They had just writen this song and they played it for him before it was released. Such a sweet and sad story.I love them!
