I knew Joshua a few years ago and I will always remember the first time I saw him play. It was at a charity event for Hurricane Katrina at a local juice bar. I was blown away, and it was all I could think about or talk about for days. Favorite songs: Dear Darcy, Mother Mary, Jesus Train, and Lorraine. He's amazing. Best songwriter of our generation.
I've met this guy a couple times, he is extremely friendly and passionate about what he does. If you like music that gives you an emotional experience see him live or look up his live video for "magazine".
If you ever get a chance to see Joshua live make it happen, I've never seen anyone sing with such passion and heart. One of those rare artists that sounds better live than studio mixed. If you get to see him at a smaller venue all the better who knows how long it is till he blows up and makes it big.
