They even played in the movie"Back To The Future".Eart h Angel was a great song.
Takes me back in time to my teen years, and when you are almost at 70 that is a great place to be.
It's amazing the power of music and how far and how many people a song can reach. Growing up in East L.A. he influenced me w. his velvet beautiful voice. I tried to emulate him ( I couldn't of course) but back in the 70's I was able to channel his music w. my own versions of oldies for a group called Ruben and the Jets. Didn't know he passed away, what a great voice and styling he had. We'll miss you but we'll always have his songs.
