Woman, I can hardly express My mixed emotions and my thoughtlessness After all, I'm forever in your debt And woman, I will try to express my inner feelings and thankfulness

Even as a young child (born 1978) I recognized this song's incredible affection and love for a woman and therefore I have adored it ever since.

Great song -- however it always reminds me of sadness because it was soooo close to the end of his life--- my favorite lennon song i believe was his favorite too --- In My Life---- words can not describe---"There are places I ll remember, all my life, though some have changed....."
We have this as our song, this generation with have to do with some rap song about baby mamas.

John said that not only did he write this for Yoko but for all "women". Beautiful..such a compliment.....

I love this song!!! My husband dedicated this song to me our first year of marriage!!! 2000!!!! Yeah!!! John Lennon was lost to many including his wife Yoko and sons Sean and Julian... A tragedy we will never forget....Love you John...
Herald: if music is written solely for the enjoyment of the general public, it has little to no meaning. Real music is written for the artist to express themselves. John Rocks.
P.S. I would HATE to have you as an agent.
How many John Lennon fans weep when they hear "Woman" ? I do. I mean, he's poaring his heart out to Yoko here. That was John Lennon for you; totally honest, caring...a great artist. My Idol...thank you John !
why wont you guys play the one song i want to hear. Every time i request it i am shot down.why wont you play woman by john lennon for me. jeeez...its not like im asking you to play misty for me.
Another one of John's later songs written for his own personal reasons... absolutely no regard for his general audience who made him rich and famous. No wonder he had such a lackluster solo career.
