Riddled with errors, supposition and opinion. Aleister Crowley wasn't a Satanist, I happen to think Presence was just as good as their previous albums, and the author has no way of knowing whether Page was a full-blown addict.

Page, Plant, and John Paul Jones were on Letterman together, that was good to them together. Also happy that Jason Bonham plays drums when they decide to perform.

Pretty lame that they wouldn't invite JPJ to this - guess the fact that JPJ arranged all LZ songs to the master pieces that they are left Page and Plant a bit jealous of his talent. Oh well - Plant is now doing bluegrass crap while JPJ is still being true to his roots.
good version of a great song. i wonder why JPJ was not welcome? it's a shame, because he was a fantastic musician.

Saw Page and Plant twice., first mach 7,1995 at Orlando Arena, and the second time was Ice Palace in Tampa, can't remember the date but was the walking into clarksdale tour, both were great shows, 95 show was the no quarter unledded tour couldn't get enough, that was an absolutely killer concert.

So sweet for the ears...

Donnyboy, there are pictures floating around of JPJ playing a three-necker in concert to back up songs like The Battle of Evermore that don't have bass parts. They're really not hard to find. He's actually credited as playing Acoustic Guitar on that song specifically. http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/359894/John+Paul+Jones.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_66P8ussx5-s/SHiujI0JKnI/AAAAAAAADTM/niwVME2WzWc/s400/OH+PAUL+JONES.jpg
Plant was the hair, Page was the sound, Bonzo was the brawn and JPJ was the soul of Zeppelin. What I wouldn't give to have seen them in their heyday...

JPJ can certainly 'play' the guitar, however his primary devices were the bass and keys. Stating he's 'a better guitarist than Page' might be one of the dumbest things I've ver read on one of these sites...
I agree that John Paul Jones is a gifted musician (base player and organist), but I don't think he ever played guitar on anything that I know of & I am old, so I should know. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know on what recording, so I can check it out.
John Paul Jones was the best musician in band! How could they not invite him!? Also John Paul Jones is a better guitar player than Jimmy Page! This is getting a thumbs down!
Dont miss the point! These guys are making music for the day, I dont sit around mourning LZ they had a great following in the day, I grew up and moved on! What is Plant/ Numan sound for 2011 by the way?
