Outrageous talent love Jimi foever
Nice
This must have been one helluva concert to be at. Most all the concerts I went to sucked -- except for some punk gigs.
I love Jimi for his early innovations. Clapton is right in there, but Joe Bonamassa is my favorite living guitar player for rockin's kick-a** blues.
The ony reason im trying to actually understand what jimi hendrix is about is because my boyfriend is in love with him!

I started to play this song on October 20th, and it's still going...
jimi: tune guitar before lsd.
i think hendrix is the best----howe v e r i agree with ron i wouldnt put clapton 2nd although he is great as well although when you listen to hendrix, im not sure he is doing anything that others like winters, marino, vaughn, gibbo n s cant do
and don't be late
There will never be another Jimi Hendrix !

amazing
Hendrix was the best for the simple reason of what he did. NO one even attempted some of the effects, or delivery style of rifts at that time. He was the first to do it, taking a huge risk that it would catch on. Thankfully, it did. It's not speed or phrasing, it's innovation, doing somethng no one had done before. That's what made him great. That, and his astonishing guitar playing.

While Hendrix and Clapton are both amazing. They both have earned there rock props. However I highly doubt either of them are the best guitarists in the world. They are both amazing (reiterated for anal retentives). But Quality is based a lot on preference. It's just like arguing anything that is your favorite. I hate the Beatles, that doesn't mean they are bad or not good at what they do. It's my preference. Arguing preference means there is no winner. Clapton and Hendrix play unique styles of
Anyone who knows anything about music knows that Jimi is the greatest guitarist who ever lived.
Two different styles and talents, Clapton and Hendrix. I have seen interviews where Clapton gave Hendrix his well deserved props, talking about how blown away he was by Jimi. And Clapton wasn't too fond of the "Clapton Is God" thing.

I'd give Hendrix the edge because of the brevity of his career--what he left us in the four years is phenomenal work. And there's the "what could have been had he lived" factor. Clapton's career obviously took a different track and speaks for itself.

Jimi is the tru king!
Hendrix is the s**t.
I dont care what anyone says.
Rock on mighty Hendrix.
ROCK ON!
just another perfect example of the legendary Jimi Hendrix
